CRYPTERIA is a metal band from Jacksonville, Florida that formed in the summer of 2004. The band's name refers to the Spartan "hidden" special forces and is not meant to be associated with graves, decay, etc. We honor the Florida death metal tradition and emphasize groove and songwriting over mere technicality, incorporating many styles from rock and metal to jazz, blues, and both Western and Indian classical music.

GRAFTINGS is finished and available to listen to on MySpace. After long deliberation Dendy has decided to leave the band. We are still like family and there are no hard feelings for any of us. We are, however, now in search of a bassist. Anyone interested contact us via MySpace.
